monitor displaying problems when bumping from hires(win98) to lo res(games-fullscreen
does this happens to all u people out there whereby u've configured the vertical, horizontal length, angle etc of the monitor to the largest when u r using ur win98 in hi reso and when u bump it down to lower reso ie. 800x600. the screen seems to b smaller and all those angles, vert and horiz length all went haywire.
when playing games, does setting refresh rate from 85hz to 75hz helps to improve fps.

Most microprocessor controlled monitors have a memory that will store the screen adjustments for the particular resolution and refresh rates.
If your monitor is MPC then if you adjust the screen to how you like it in full screen, then you should be able to switch between modes with the image staying the same size - mine is an ADI 4V and works fine like that, it also helps when changing resolution in windows via 'quickres'.
