I bought Cr. Labs 3d Blaster Voodoo2, put it in, hooked up the cables. Installed the drivers, and it doesnt work. I.e., in hardware profile, it is listed and has not conflicts or anything of the sort. However, the Voodoo2 tag shows up in display properties pretty much randomly: if u open it 5 times, it might be there 1 or all 5 or none. None of OpenGL or Direct3d games work. On the creative website, it says that Video Bios Shadowing should be disabled. I disabled it, and the next time i trying to run quake it almost started and froze witha black screen, and not grey as it did before.
However, i am unable to recreate this effect. I have P200mmx, running at 249. I tried settting it to nominal setting, and nothing changed. The chipset of my M/b is TxProII.
