Video Locks Up

system amd 200mhz k6, amptron 8600b mb, 32 meg edo ram, intergraph intense 3d 4 meg video card, dynasonix 3d sound card. DirectX 6 drivers installed.

When playing Riven the computer locks up and the picture becomes distorted. Not having trouble with other games.

that is probably a bug in the game i have had problems like that,with NFS3....
i would look for all the patches for that game and use them..... if not allready done so...
if you are really into intense gaming go all for it and get a voodoo banshee board....
i have a quantum 3d raven...
it flat out halls..... keeps up with a single voodooII.
