Jetway mobo's not the greatest for overclocking but would depend on your CPU - what have you got ?

How much a CPU can be overclocked depends the chip itself. Each CPU is different, some can go way over their rated speed and others can't go 1MHz higher. You've just gotta try and find out. A second thing that affects the overclocking is how well the chip is cooled. Generally the more you overclock the hotter the CPU gets and it can overheat therefore you want to buy a good heatsink/fan to keep it cool.

SysOpt has a database of the overclocked speeds people where able to achieve with their chips. Its a good way to find out the average speed people are getting with a given chip.

    shame it's a PIII450 - not the best for overclocking, the 500 & 600 did it better

F4_Hunter has a good point, check out the Date Base for PIII450's & or Jetway modo's

it all depends on what your Overclocking goal is ?

but - yeah if speed is the upmost then the PIII450 is old hat now
    - *did I hear the words AMD just then ? *
you could put it out in the back paddock & leave it to crunch Seti@home
