OK, guys, seems like everybody did post here, so why not me, too?
Only, I forgot, originally what was this thread about? Overclocking? hamsters? If this must be a simple answer to the thread's question, I'd reply: Yes, clocking is good! It's funny, you can add some more power for you PC for free, and it's interesting too see: "What will happen, if ...". People are curious mainly, it's not only about MHz and benchmarks and alike, but mostly curious, I think. I, myself, sometimes o/c, sometimes - not, depends on the season (now it's 30 C in my room, 33 C outside, so I don't overclock, as I have only 3 fans )
...BTW, I suppose this thread never ends?... So keep up posting

To Logan2002: Celeron 900/100 (128 cache). When it's summer, I prefer not to overclock, so the cpu fan stays at its quite 3000 rpm (SpeedFan controlled), and the temp stays below the reasonable 50 C at full load

Hmms, nope, they all died in some mysterious way...
They didn't want it to wet, and not to dry, so they just were too hard to keep alive...

The way of the SickRix, your hampterwas called Rix wasn't he?, i had SickRix for a while and went over too Advanced Hamster Domestiles for a bit, then defected to Hamtel, but now I'm back to the AHD as they are far more overclockable. Sorry your Fisham didn't make it. Sob........

Up to +22% (safely), +27% (maximum), after 28% system becomes unstable. So, a 900 MHz becomes 1.1 GHz ~, raising the FSB from 100 to 122.
This is just the Celeron that was released before the Tualatin came to scene.

That's pretty good!
Well, 1) I cannot expect my Celeron to be 24 C, as in my room is smth. about 30 C - that means I must install some sort of special climatization system for my cpu 2) I do not use any thermopaste, maybe that's also the reason. My cpu is around 35-37, when idle - so just 5-7 deg. C higher than the temp in my room, and 45-50 C at full load; I think these are safe numbers, so I don't worry about When winter comes, I'll o/c it again, probably.
