Where can I buy an AXIA-core chip?

ANYWHERE but OCZ.safeshopper.net (Overclockerz.com). After both my own terrible experience here and reading about the experiences of many others, I refuse to patronize this store.

Please recommend any other store that might carry one.

since the AXIA stepping cpus have gotten so much attention, some resellers on pricewatch list if their athlons are axia stepping. just search for athlon axia 1.2 ghz or whatever and you'll find some stuff. also, do the same search on ebay.

http://www.bzboyz.com usually lists the chips code and has the supposedly "better" AYHJA core 1.4/266's for around 225$, they are local to me (Signal Hill) and allow will call which is pretty cool...

Plus he usually has the full Swiftech line in stock if ya want a screamin cooler with it.

The retail box 1.2 GHz I recently ordered from Comp-u-Plus feature the AXIA core. Total cost including overnight shipping was under $175. Perhaps it would be possible to call to verify the core shipped, especially if you are looking for an OEM chip.

    Good Luck,

I live fairly far out in the country. The closest local show is 70 minutes away by car.

    I didn't see them at Newegg.com--am I missing something?
