    Over clocking a Gateway G6-350

What is the deal with these Bios? I have moved the jumper to the correct setting, and still can not modify the Bios! I have reviewed Gateway's techsite for my m/b...no help! Also, can't seem to upgrade my bios with the latest driver. This could be because I'm running NT 4.0. Any ideas? I have the following bios: 4M4PBOX1

Had the exact same system. You cannot overclock it. The BIOS is locked from the manufacturer. Most of them , Compaq,Gateway,Dell, etc. lock them for warranty reasons. Although with the latest BIOS flash you can put up to a 1 gig Pentium in it. Atleast that is what Gateway Tech. Support told me.
