AIW Radeon / Tbird 800
I currently have the following system:
Abit KT7 Motherboard
AMD Thunderbird 800 @ 900 cpu (100x9)
ATI All in Wonder Radeon 32mb DDR
7200 rpm Quantum hard drive
19" monitor (not that it matters)
My problem is i cant put the fsb above 100. I tried setting it at 133 but my monitor just shuts off and i have to reset my bios. Is there something im missing? Do i need to increase the voltage? I tried booting at 133x6, 133x6.5, and 133x7 all which are around 900 or below. In theory it should work.
Also, I am currently using an AIW Radeon 32mb DDR. Are there any utilities out there other than power strip that i can use to change the clock rates?

Hehe, there is a very good reason why you can't get above 110. Thunderbirds are very touchy when it comes to bus speed overclocking, that is why everyone unlocks their chips instead. You can push their busses very little. If you get a bus of 133 MHz out of a T-Bird you got LUCKY! Even 110 is pushing it.
Something i should have concidered before purvhasing i guess. Will upgrading my ram to mushkin cas2 improve my memory score in sandra? or would i need to be able to change my fsb to get a better score?
Are you getting low memory scores in sandra?
I think so. Here is a screen shot.
