    Success..Celeron 700 @ 873!

I did it. Replace my old Katmai 550 with a 700 Celeron. At 83 Mhz. front bus I got 873 with no blue screen. All I have to do now is deal with the cooling. Any suggestions as what fan to use and where I should be temp wise? Thanks for your help in advance (and thanks Radar for all your advice). CPU Dhrystone went from 1670 to 2304 and FPU Wheststone from 810 to 1136. Hooray!

    Scott,

Here is a link that will give you info on cooling options. Congrats on getting such a cheap, but powerful upgrade.
