    what's the highest/safest voltage to run a p3 850?

    I'm currently at 1.75, haw safe to go to 1.85, I can't afford to fry this one!

    It depends on how much cooling you have. The processor will shut off on thermal overload and not boot up if you push it too far. The Intel spec is at 70°C if I remember correctly. I run a P3-750 at 964 MHz @ 1.85 volts under full CPU load and it only reaches 54°C.
