Golden Orb V/S Alpha...

Alright. I have had two different experiences with this. First I had an Alpha cooler for my Celer2 (not usre which Alpha but it was a smaller one with the fan over the top instead of on the side like the P3 125) and after blocking one DIMM slot, it left by CPU burning compared to my G.O.

Now, I run an Alpha P3 125 with 2 Y.S.Tech (60mm?) fans on top on my PIII 800E. At 928 it stays a snug 48C with room temp at 30C. Then I get the bright idea to get the G.O. for the SECC2 setup and ...get this... it runs my PIII 800E at 928 with room temp at 30C at...are you listening?....40C!!! What an improvement! I can't wait to see if I can get higher with it!

Anyone want a P# 125? If so it is int he for sale column here. LOL.

geez thats weird good to hear the g.o worked out for ya cause my p3 125 rocks i would have to say its the best cooler ive ever had runs my p3 700@ gig at 30c idle
