question about duron 650 at 904?
my duron will post at 904 with 113mhx fsb and 8x multi but it will not even post at 850 with 100mhz fsb and 8.5x multi. why is this? i would think that if it can do 904 with the fsb it should be able to hit that with just the multi or am i wrong and just dont know something?

well, it's weird but then again my 650 would not even post @ 700 (7x100) @ any voltage.
then I turned the hook of the HS around (not the HS just the hook) and went to 1000Mhz (10x100) beautifully and is now stable 1.8V eversince temp max ~47C. The funny thing is that at any other combination it would not post so high.
As for the FSB speed I used to have a K6-2 that was really beneffited by the higher FSB (due to the onboard cache), but I don't see how the Duron may be beneffited. Since the mem runs on its own (133 unless you lock it with the fsb in which case you have a point), AGP, IDE and PCI overclocking is not that effective anyway. This is litterature and does not solve your problem so the only use of the FSB o'cing is to give some extra Mhz (say 9x105 may work while 9.5x100 doesn't)
