    peltier coolers...

    i'm waitin gon some peltier coolers for my celeron that is on its way. for the condensation problem, anybody have suggestions? i got to coolers, hoping to put on the front and back...

    One of my friends has a peltier, he put a small piece of sponge around the cooler so the condensation won't drip down and risk ruining one of his other parts... You might want to try that

    Put your peltiers on a temperature switch so that they come on only after the cpu is warm, condensate only happens when peltier is cooler than room temp, by keeping it from dropping that low IE; starting under load should solve conensate problem

    Wrap your peltiers in some closed cell foam. That will keep the condensation from forming. If the ambient environment can't get to it then no condensation will form. If it is a socket7/370 type processor don't forget the pocket under the socket. Hmm, that's poetic.
