1st of all make sure that your motherboard has jumpers. Jumpers are little pieces that fit onto your motherboard, moving them or removing them can change certain settings on your comuputer including Bus Speed, CPU speed, Clock Multiplier, etc.
    Here's a jumper:
Now you should be able to find on ur Mobo, where the jumpers are for BUS Clock and Clock Multiplier. There should be 2 jumpers total, 1 for Bus Clock, other for clock multiplier. You can overclock by simply changing these jumpers's position, BUT, you must do it correctly. Tell me what it says on ur board, what are the multipliers (1.5x, 2.5x, 5x, etc), and what are the Bus CLocks (66MHz, 75MHz, etc.) List them all if you can find them.

Now before u move any of them, be sure you know where the jumper is to change the CPU Core Voltage, for AMD K6's the voltage is usually around 2.2V

Tell me what your board reads out (the ? I asked above). I'll go from there!

If you look real close on the motherboard you will likely see the jumper settings on it. Try setting the fsb from 100 (which it is at now)to the next setting up. and leave the multiplier alone and see what you get. I woud try posting your fsb speeds here first as it would be a bit safer and easier to help you .
