OverClocking Cyrix MII 333 to 400
Cyrix is a strange chip, sorta of alway
making claim it perform better then other chip?!?
Now why would something like 100x2.5 perform like 366mhz you know that is BULL.
It more like 310mhz.
Stinking Lying Cyrix, they got what they deserve, out of business in no time!
Now if you used a formula .23 x 250 + 250 = 310 that the real the performance.
They claim it .46 x 250 + 250 = 366 which is completely false.
FPU = .50 x 310 = perform like P155
That is to say a P166 has more powerful
Here what I did, I am using 83 x 3.5 = 290mhz
Which when boot up cpu say it 400mhz
but is wrong!
I benchmarked and it say 344mhz when compared to a Pentium.
I am using Volt 3.0 for stability.
Here another thing about their Pr433 chip
is actually PR357, the overrated, hyped chip
Now how is it possible for a 300mhz chip to perform like 433mhz?
Hmm Cyrix is actually ripping people off, left and right.
So they say their 95 x 3 is 400mhz?!?
Come on what kind of idiot do they take us for? Which in actuality is 350mhz.
Used .23 x 285 + 285 to get real performance.
FPU 350mhz/2 = 150mhz
So a Pr166 cyrix is actually a Pr163.
Pr200 should be 185 because it only +17mhz
from 133 to 150.
R.I.P Cyrix, I wish you the best of luck in
your peaceful rest.
BTW: When they used P instead of PR they got
sued for it, so it was changed to PR
for Performance Rated or Pentium Rated in other word.
They are superior in RC5. A MII PR333 gets more than a K6-3/2 450MHz.
