cant clock pentium100
I set the jumper settings correctly for a pentium100 to be clocked at 133MHz.I also loaded the default values in my BIOS and booted up,(i also booted up without the default settings)but it just frezzes after the BIOS tests the RAM and detects the hard drive.I know my CPU is overclockable , but it doesnt work. Why not?

Mostly486,
How do you know your CPU is overclockable to 133? Have you tested it before? Try taking it 120 first and see if it can do that.

Yes take it to 2x60 to see if the cpu can take the higher speed, but be aware that overall system performance will be slower @ 2x60 than 1.5x66 (100Mhz). If it makes 120 then go for 133 (2x66), and if it doesn't POST take the voltage up to 3.42V. My p90 works great @ 2x66 (133) but needs the higher voltage to make it.
