You can try and run your PC66 ram at 75mhz. (It should handle it). I have PC100 ram running @110-115mhz. Yes you can have PC100&PC66 ram in the same box.

In my other AMD system, I have 72-pin edo dram running at bus speed of 100mhz! totally stable, never got any lock ups related to stressed memory chips that I know of. Although, you are talking about 168pin dimms, but I'd just thought i'd let ya know.

If you have both pc66 and pc100 you are agian (obviously) limited by the pc66's inability to go as high as your pc100 stick. If your mem stick (pc66) doesn't do 100MHz then you need to forget about using it in a 100Mhz even if you buy some pc100 sticks. You'll just use the pc100's.
Before buying ask around about the various speed chips (10ns, 8ns, etc) 10ns is typical pc100 that won't go fra hiugher than 100Mhz. 8ns goes out to 125Mhz (taking down the speed a bit) and 7.5ns and bellow goes to 133 (also known as pc133) but good pc133 is 6ns (150Mhz and more)
