    Question PC133 SDRAM?

Is PC133 SDRAM backwards compatible. I have been thinking of pulling my cheap generic (won't O.C.)PC100 out and trying brand name PC133. I have a Abit BE6. Thanks.

I can't get past 105 FSB and have it still be stable. It boots to windoz but hangs in UT and 3DMark2K. I assume it is the fault of my ram?

Well, it might be your ram, might be your cpu, might be your mobo. I'm pretty new to overclocking...
    But, probably just cheap ram.

Well i am also new but i think ram will go as fast as your bus speed?? Like 133 will default @ 100 if thats the speed and 112 if thats your bus. You get my drift.. Sorry if im wrong

Well I pulled 96MB out that was generic and I left 64MB Fujitsu PC100 in and I'm @575 rock solid. Going to try 600 later. And am going to by 64 more brand name PC100. That should do it, I hope. Might just be lucky ram. Sorry TidalWave it's already taken. Thanks.
