I'm trying to overclock my K6 2 300 3D myself
If you get any advice for yours, let me know
and I'll do the same for you. I'm a little
chicken about changing anything without same
advice. Later

For you both, I've got a k62-266 downstairs which I've successfully overclocked to 450mhz completely stable @ 2.3v. Luckily with the AMD chips (except for Athlon) the multiplier's are not locked, meaning you don't need to raise the bus speed, just the multiplier jumper. I was able to get 450 only by using a 30W peltier cooler. With a standard heatsink/fan I was able to get around 380mhz. What I would recommend to you both is that you try going slow, set your 300 to 333, check stability. Set your 333 to 350, check stability. Keep going until you start to see that it's getting alittle unstable, try bumping the voltage up .1 at a time. Don't go above 2.5v(and even that is pushing it without super cooling) unless you wanna take the chance of damaging your chip. I hope that helps out alittle, let me guys know if you need any other pointers.
