Intel Celeron 400MHz
I've just taken delivery of my new Intel Celeron 400MHz (66MHz bus), PC100 SDRAM and Supermicro SBA motherboard.
I have two questions:
1) What are my chances of overclocking it? The mobo only has 66MHz and 100Mhz FSB settings
2) The CPU temp is 45 deg C and the chassis temp is 41 deg C.. that good, bad or indifferent?
Kind Regards,
Ol.

you have no chance to o.c it, the multiplyer is locked at 6 and at 100fsb it will not boot (acourding to tweaku 0% run with a 100fsb) your temps are ok you might want to get more case cooling and a bettter h/s fan combo on your chip get a new mobo that has intermidiat settings for the fsb (like 66,75,83) i have a clry 433 set at 6.5x83 (539) with abit turbo inabled it runs dandy at 541 with a temp of 33.2c good luck

You need to get a different mobo with more fsb options. I have got my 400 celeron running at 83 mhz which is 500mhz. Only 2% of celeron 400's will hit 600mhz so your chances of overclocking are very slim.

Thanks for the notes guys.. a new mobo is out of the question for the time being.. so i'll just sit tight @ 400MHz!
