Are you looking for something cheap?

I just built up a PC Chips system for my dad. It has the coolest bios. It lets you change everything on the CPU. Temp sensing, fan tach...just like a real motherboard.

The only thing that isn't cool is it has built in everything. AGP video, 3D sound, etc. For a $70 motherboard, it works pretty damned good. Much better than the cheap AOpen boards. The model I installed was a M598.

I'd recommend the FIC VA-503+ board. The MVP3 chipset will let you run asynchronous memory/FSB settings, so just because you want 100-112 FSB, if your memory pukes you're not SOL. Also, unless I'm mistaken, the Asus uses the ALi chipset, which, in my opinion, doesn't do AGP as well. Don't get me wrong, the Asus is a great board, but I think the FIC is more flexible, and better for o/c'ing.

believe or not,i just o/c my AMD K6-2 350 to 450 with 2.5v.Maybe this achieving is quite familiar for many o/cers but that just prove ASUS is a great O/Cing mainboard.

Actually you guys are both right, FIC VA 503+ is AT form, ASUS P5A/B is ATX from, they both are great board. The only thing worries me about ASUS is the L2 cache, which is just 512k. How about FIC PA-2013 ATX -V2.0 with 2MB L2 cache, any idea?
Thanks and have a good weekend!
