Does this count as overclocking?
I just ran Norton Diagnostics (freeware, ndiags.exe) on my system (P2/266 not o/c, 64m, Asus P2B, 8G HD) and it told me the processor speed was 302 Mhz! The jumpers have been set for 266 since the beginning, since I paid for a 266 processor, it says 266 on top of it and I never had any plans of overclocking. Is my processor really running at 300 even though I have the board set for 266? If so, would I gain any performance by setting the board to 300 (66x4.5 or 3x100)?
