Netscape Search Button
My Netscape 4.5 browser (post US West ISP installation) brings up a CNET search engine page when the search button is clicked. Does anyone know how to change the search button back to the Netscape Netcenter search page. I've checked the options menu the prefs.js files, win.ini file, registry and any other places I could think of. Reinstalling Communicator doesn't resolve the problem either.
Thanks in advance,
Stuart

Mine takes me to the EarthLink Search using HotBot. I guess it is ISP determined.
Try www.37.com . It takes you to 37 search engines!

Sprintnet did this to my explorer 4.01. The problem is in the registry. Get the address of the page it sends you to, then search for that in your registry. You can then change it to whatever you want. Good luck.
