FIC VA-503+ again...
Okay, the FIC site said this mobo has CPU temp. monitoring, but WinSystem, nor I, can find the chip that does this? Who's the idiot here? (Besides me...)
You need a special CPU fan that has the temp. monitor in it and then it will plug into the board. There is a 2x6 pin connector just off the corner of the CPU socket. This is where the EISCA CPU FAN connects to the m/b.

BTW, that was all in the manual .
Okay, yes, thank you. I know that was in the manual, but again, FIC originally said it was on the board. I just wasn't aware that the add-on option of EISCA was what they had in mind. BTW, www.pentalpha.com will be happy to show you pretty pictures of the EISCA fan, would love to tell you about their company, but none of the distributors listed have links on that site. The only way I was able to find an actual price on an EISCA fan was a search on Alta Vista for EISCA. I don't remember the actual link(s). But thank you anyway.
