    I have ABIT BH6 with pII350 and looking for some help on overclocking

    I can set it up at like 133mhz bus speed and it overclocks but i dont think its that good. I cant set mult to 4.0.. cause i heard you can set it at 4.0 with a 350 with this board... and advice at all to overclock and be safe ?? thanx

    P-IIs made after August 14, 1998 are multiplier locked. If yours is earlier, then you can use multipliers other than 3.5. On later ones you can set a different multiplier but it won't change anything.

    It is very unlikely your really are running at 133MHz. Even 124 is unreachable for most CPUs. What speed does it post when you boot?

    I have tried my PII 350 on many boards and at different settings, but I can't get it stable above 113 without cooking the living #$%$ out of the cpu. What is the FSB set to on your board and what is it reporting?

    133 works on the BH6 and the hi/low select switch in your bios is what unlocks the earlier 350s.
    If your machine won't work at above 112{113?}then it is most likely your memory, follow Roy's posts on the subject.
