300a to 450 Really?

Yes i heard you can overclock the 300a celeron to 450 mhz with no problem. Is this true?Also would you recommend me buy the celeron 300a since i heard it is faster then some pentium 2 and you can overclock the thing to 450 with east and plus it only cost 89 bucks for the chip compare to the pentium 2

I regret to say that NOT ALL Celeron 300a makes it to 450. It always a gamble. Good Luck

I think he means not all overclocking reaches the same speeds. Luck has much to do with it.

It takes special effort (foolishness) to burn out a CPU.

The C300a has taken many users to a place they could not otherwise afford to go.
