P2 or Celeron?
I'm gonna buy a new cpu, and I can get a second hand Pentium 2 350 for about the same price as I can get a Celeron 400.
Still not sure which one to get, need advice!

I'd go with Celery 400. It is faster. You might have to flash your bios to get it to work with your MB.

Celerons get better marks in some tests.
Pentiums are more powerful overall.
The Celeron probably will overclock higher than the Pentium because of the 4.0 multiplier.
Then again, if the P-II 350 was made before August 14, 1998, it should accept different multipliers. This opens up more possibilities.

Celeron 400 multiplier is 6.0
A Celeron with 128 cache clock the same as P2 might post a faster result if the test is a small program that gets all of it data in the cache. Graphics programs tend to use very large data that the 128 cache will most likely have a miss. Those types of applications, benefit most from a P2.
