Success! P2-333 running at 450/100 core 2.20v, here are benchmarks

    Winbench CPUMark = 34.5
Sandra soft = 1205 mips and 597 mflops
    Quake2 = 110 fps

Sandra soft memory benchmark = 227

The memory benchmark is actually 8 points slower than a P2 –400, not sure why.

I am now running the progy Rain, it helps a lot. I also installed a third RadioShack snail shaped blower fan to disapate some of the heat off my peltier cooling system. If you read my last post you know what I am talking about.

Still have not reached the ever-elusive 500mhz mark yet, however the 450mhz is pretty **** stable thus far, no crashes. If I can’t get a stable 500 I can’t really complain.

    Nice results!

Be aware that MIPS and MFLOPS have only to do with processor speed. They really are not performance benchmarks, as such.

    Hey Rac,

I am Canislupis on Anand, why not use Stryker on that board you ask. Well someone already took the name Stryker over there.

    Stryker aka Lupis

That must have been a non multiplier lock P2-333. Did you just acquire this cpu? Where?

    What's the specs?

Stryker: Good Job! Now if you tell us more we may be able to help you get to 500Mhz? What Mb, Mem, Heatsink&fan, casefans, cover on or off? Need more info of what you are running? Jim

Here P2-333@515@2.2volts Abit BX6,Pc100mem,ComputerNerd heatsink&3fan setup. 2-intake, 3-exhaust fans. PS-fan blowing out. Room temp-72, Mb temp-80, Heatsink temp-82. System closed up. Hope that helps. Jim

Mine is a P2-333 sl2ka Malay week 10 on a Abit BH6 with 100mhz ram and according to my sandra sowfware progy the model infomation is deschutes 333-500 2.00v

I run it mostly at 400/100 2.00v, mobo @ 87F cpu 82.4F or 450/100 2.20 mobo 95F cpu 89-90F. I have a modified Mushkin 3-fan 2-peltier heatsink. I have one duel intake bottom rear and one 3inch intake bottom front, 3 RadioShack snail shaped blowers for circulation, 2 upper rear exhahusts and one small duel upper front exhaust.
The heatsink modification is 2 additional small 3/4 by 3/4 peltiers running on 2 AC adapters which provide extra cooling and offset the back flush of heat from the large peltiers when the system is shut down. Also, one ot the snail shaped blowers is connected to a AC adapter for extra cooling at power off as well. I leave the AC adapters running for about 5 mins after power down.

Heat is still my enemy, I have a very warm room, its the hotest room in the house. Even with the heat vents closed off in the dead of winter it hovers in the 78F range, and during the summer forget about it. Its kinda strange if you think about it.
