    Can't reach 504a (but why not)????

    Ok when i try to boot @ 504 the system jam @
    Update DMI whatever, but that's not it say.
    it say "nonefying pool data..."
    Is u guys have any ideal?????

    Did you try raising the Voltage? Try that but don't go over 2.3volts unless you have very good cooling and like to take risks! Hope that helps. Jim

    Probably not your memory...

    I've seen the same message when I try to overclock higher than the chip will go. If I go too high, my monitor goes blank and I have to clear the bios.

    At 504Mhz, my system will stop at that point if I turn off the external cache. Is your internal and external cache "Enabled"?

    Also you can slow your memory down a bit.

    I think that the DMI pool data is motherboard bios stuff, after that message it tries to boot from your drive. If you listen carefully, you can probably hear one click or two from your hard drive before it hangs.

    Keep trying different bios settings. I had one Celeron that would do 464Mhz, but just wouldn't do 504 no matter what I did. The second Celeron I bought just popped to 504 with no complaints.
