    Intel 200MMX core Voltage=3.4,safe???

No problem at 3*75 V=2.8 ASUS MB. But when I try 3.5*75, V=2.8,or 2.9, Can't boot Win98. The next voltage setting on this board is 3.4. 3.5*75, V=3.4 works great over the last week with no freezes, no blue screens etc. I'm also running CPUidle. Should I leave everything this way??

Just be happy with 225. 3.4v might fry your cpu - then you will have nothing.

I ran a P55C 200MMX at 3.3v core for almost a year without any problems -using a good heatsink,CPU fan, and thermal goo. I continue to use that system at standard clock and voltage settings as my Linux /BeOS experiment box. I'm posting this message with it. Will 3.4v core hurt the CPU? I don't think so if you have EXCELENT cooling, but I didn't want to push it up anymore... You should have excelent cooling - but that extra tenth of a volt might just be the straw that breaks the CPU's back.

My computer runs fine like this . I'll let you know when it blows up, but don't hold your breath. I have overclocked many times before and when your system purrs like this, it's not going to crumble so soon!
