Is there more than one ver. of the 300a?

Ok, I decided to go with the Celeron 300a, but do I have to worry about getting the wrong one? Someone told me I have to use one called "Malay" When I called to order one, they said the ones they sell can't be overclocked... What do I ask for?

It's difficult to find a dealer that still sell a 300a tested to450 & above. The "Malay" refers to the country of manufacturing plant.

Check out overclockers.com/ 's survey of 300a specs which shows success and failure for a particular spec, country of origin & week of production.

Also, review Russ Stringham's celery reports

    Good Luck
