I have a 300A o/c464 BH6. Using Wcpul2 program and setting the L2 cache latency to 4 produces an increase of 2.5% in several memory benchmarks (Nortons, Sisoft Sandra). Decreasing the latency to 3 or under gives poorer results just as increasing it above 6. Haven't seen much 'realworld' increases though.
