Thermal tape, anyone use it? does it work well?
I was in Fry's today getting a additional fan for my box and saw some thermal cooling tape. Anyone tried it? Does it work?

If u mean to use it between your heatsink and cpu..then thermal compound is way better!!
Get some at radio shack for $1.99.
It is called "heatsink compound" at radio shack.
Much better choice!

I've used it a lot on my P2 water coolers and Voodoo2 coolers. I do think that the thermal silicone works better but in a situation where you need the tape it works pretty good too. Just make sure that both surfaces are really clean and flat. Follow the directions in the bag. The first time I used it I thought it sucked. Later I went back and read the directions and it worked MUCH better.
