FIC 503+ motherboard and 95mhz bus
Hi. I have a FIC 503+ m/b and a K6-2/300
Could someone please tell me the jumper settings on the m/b for 95mhz bus speed. I know this board will do 95mhz but it is undocumented (as is 112mhz which I'm currently running at.)
Thanks

95mhz= CLK1:2-3/CLK2:1-2/CLK3:2-3
112MHZ= CLK1:1-2/CLK2:2-3/CLK3:2-3
NOTE: If you have board revision 1.1a there is not a 95mhz bus but a 90mhz with the same jumper settings.
If you have the latest version of the board, that comes with the Blue and white box and manual, the 95mhz setting comes on "Addendum (25-10865-34)" a separate piece of paper. Settings for memory using the 112 and 124mhz bus speeds are "Non PC-100" - see page 16 of the latest manual.

I am a little dense, so bear with me; I forgot to mention that if you have the latest eddition of the board the settings are all clearly marked on the board - including the 95,112,and 124mhz bus. So if you are asking you must have an older release. By the way, if you have the 124mhz bus it is:
CLK1:2-3/CLK2:1-2/CLK3:1-2
Just the reverse of the 112 settings
You are not likely to get the 124mhz working unless you set your SDRAM for Non PC-100

Thanks for the help. I have board rev. 1.1A so I guess it doesn't do 124mhz
And even if I can overclock more with the 90mhz bus, it's probably not going to be faster than what I got going now with the 112mhz bus. Oh well. At least my RAM seems to handle the 112mhz just fine (it's currently set for PC-100 ram which runs the ram at bus speed, right?).
