    Harddrive stops at 450a

    My harddrive wont start up, when runnig 450. It does POST fine, and my cooling is really good.
    I have a Epox EP-61BXA-M and 64 PC100 SDRAM (r) My harddrive is an IBM DTTA-350840 8.4GB

    At 100Mhz FSB, the PCI/IDE devices are running at standard speed - not overclock. It seems that only your CPU is overclock.
    Try this test using a bootable floppy. Disconnect, all other devices except video card and floppy drive (no HD) see if it will boot to A> prompt.
    If it does, reconnect the HD only, see if it will boot completely. I am not familiar with this model of IBM HD. What's the interface?
