    WIN95 WONT BOOT UP O/C TO 450

Hope someone can help me with this:
When I try to oveclock the k6 400 to 450 the win95 shows some eror messages and does not boot up. It says some files like vflatd.vxd, vfat.vxd, vcache.vxd, dosmgr.vxd and many others are damaged. These files are mentioned in the system.ini section [386Enh]. I found out that I did not even have these files on the computer and manage to save them on the windows/system directory but it did not solve the problem.
I would apreciate any help on this.
    Thanks

Which way did you try to do 450?

    4 * 112 or 4.5 * 100?

Whichever one you did, try the other one.

If you really want 4 * 112 you may have to:

Lower the memory CAS setting from 2 to 3, if appicable.

Turn off UDMA to your harddrive, go back to PIOMODE 4, perhaps even lower.

    Hi Aris
    Thanks for the tips.
I have tried 4,5*100 only and did not change the voltages yet.
I will do that and let you know.
    Thanks
