I've got a K6-2/400CXT & ATI AIWproAGP/8mb, WA is set by my system BIOS. Want to also set WC, using SetK6 or MxK6OPT utilities. In the upper memory range my videocard uses 2 areas, one is 4kb, the other is 16mb. I'll assume first one is a register of sorts, the second one
must contain my LFB. Now, are LFB's *usually* same size as videoRAM? If so, then guess I should set my first MTRR to 8M. Or, could it be possible my LFB is 2x the videoRAM & the MTRR should be set to 16M? I've tried it both ways & found no differences so far, just wondered which is best way in theory...TIA
