    Eric -

I sent answers (or where to get them) to most of these questions last night. Bite the bullet an go for it. I know cost is an issue, but study the sites and worry less about a few dollars. In the long run, the quest is worth the price of a ticket.

Well in my opinion the I would make a list of the places that charge Extra for 300a and tell all your friends Not to buy anything from them. Now if it's only 5-10$ more I would say it's ok.

The others charging over $100 for a chip they payed about $30 for are just taking advantage of you in a bad way and if I were pricewatch.com I wouldn't even list them anymore.

You can find the OEM 300-a w/128k, no fan, for $69 at www.mwave.com. I've had good experiences with them in the past.
