WHY SO BIG FILES? (WIN386.SWP)
I HAVE A DOUBT ABOUT OF A TYPE OF WINDOW FILE. THIS IT IS THE FILE, WIN386.SWP (148 MB. WHY SO BIG? AND WHAT ABOUT THIS? PAGEFILE.SYS (384 MB). CAN ANY EXPLAIN TO ME?
-
win386.swp is the swap file for win9x systems. pagefile.sys is the swap file for nt/2000 systems.
The size is what you define it, or if you let windows specify, it's whatever.
Those are needed files.
My computer->Properties->Performance->Virtual memory in win9x,
My computer->Properties->Last tab->Performance in w2k.

I can´t find internet.inf. where in the hell it is?
-
It's probably one of those temporary internet files which you can delete by accessing tools->internet options in ie. There should be reference to temp internet files which you can delete.
