    WHY SO BIG FILES? (WIN386.SWP)

    I HAVE A DOUBT ABOUT OF A TYPE OF WINDOW FILE. THIS IT IS THE FILE, WIN386.SWP (148 MB. WHY SO BIG? AND WHAT ABOUT THIS? PAGEFILE.SYS (384 MB). CAN ANY EXPLAIN TO ME?

    win386.swp is the swap file for win9x systems. pagefile.sys is the swap file for nt/2000 systems.
    The size is what you define it, or if you let windows specify, it's whatever.
    Those are needed files.
    My computer->Properties->Performance->Virtual memory in win9x,
    My computer->Properties->Last tab->Performance in w2k.

    but heres one you can erase:
    internet.inf
    also called in dos (i think)
    intern~1.inf
    mine was over 100 meg full of cookies.

    I can´t find internet.inf. where in the hell it is?

    It's probably one of those temporary internet files which you can delete by accessing tools->internet options in ie. There should be reference to temp internet files which you can delete.
