Something is sucking my resources dry
In less than 4 or 5 hours I'm down to 50% resources. Help where or how do I troubleshoot this?

When ya get below 30% or so is when ya oughta be concerned.
Thank Bro Bill for designing a Half-Anal o/s that don't take care of resources the way it should.

Oh yeah typical male, though my PC is really misbehaving when I'm at 60 or 50.
Guess the PC is like me, high strung and high performance!

well, willie, I gather then from the info the problem is not resources. The symptoms are stuttering, pausing, etc. acting like its walking through wet cement.
I have an 800 Duron with 512 meg of ram, this baby should go. but it's not.

You check your processes? You may have an errant one slowly sucking up resources.

Surreal, check the back of yer box for a attached resourse vampire -- they're common this time-a-year.
Seriously, give a 3-finger salute & end-task on everything 'cept what you HAVE to have & see if it improves.

I have a similar problem with a similar system, (Duron 800 in a MSI MB) Things particularly slow down after downloading a bunch of stuff from the internet (mp3's etc.)
I've just assumed its a Windows thing, and resigned myself to the occasional reboot to restore things to normal. Let us know if you find any other resolution to the problem.
