    WinME - ICS install incorrectly

When installing Internet Connection Sharing, quiered for dialup for ISP and local network card. Complete as needed.

Reboot, ICS icon appears in tray.

    Right click and select Options.

Dialup is listed as "dialup adapter" instead of actual dialer while local network card is listed correctly.

Checked settings in IE properties, under Connections, LAN setting, and again "dialup adapter" is listed instead of dialup for ISP.

No matter how many times I have tried, can't seem to get it to install correctly.

Current settings have to be turned off or data will not flow on gateway station while connected and access is not available to remote station, at all.

How can this be corrected? Can it be corrected?

(This did not happen before upgrading to WinME from 98SE. Had worked fine for past year or so.)

I've read somewhere that you don't want to use the Windows ICS wizard as it changes all sorts of things around and can cause some problems. Try homepcnetwork.com and see if they've got any help for you.
