Award BIOS beep code
Vacuumed inside my old Socket 7 CPU (call me stupid). On restart I now get a single repetitive beep, no video, no POST. Award homepage no help and other sites insist award has no beep codes. Mobo is a Hsing-Tech Vxpro chipset AMD K5. Help, I want my AMD back!

Check all your RAM and make sure it is seated properly. If that machine has a cache stick in it, make sure you didn't dislodge it a bit. Check all cards to make sure they are in place.
Here are some beep codes: http://beeps.beemerworld.com
Cheers!

The only AwardBIOS beep code indicates that a video error has occurred and the BIOS cannot initialize the video screen to display any additional information. This beep code consists of a single long beep followed by two short beeps. Any other beeps are probably a RAM (Random Access Memory) problem.
All other faults at POST are indicated by error messages.
