    ATX power strip

    Hi all.. some simple questions:

    What do the colors represent in the ATX power supply..?

    I would assume:

    RED = +12V
    BLACK = ground

    What is Yellow? and why are there 2 Black Strips in those 4-pin connectors?

    Thanx in advance!!

    On a 4 pin connector red +5, yellow +12, blacks are ground.For the motherboard connector see here

    Thanx! BASBOY

    I assume for a 12V system cooler, I need to connect it to yellow and black then? Even if the fan connector shows red and black..?
