M577 Motherboard Modem Problem
I posted to here a while back with a problem regarding getting a soundcard to work on the same motherboard, and due to the help received managed to get it working fine, so thanks for that.
Anyway I now come to install a Modem on the same machine and am getting a further problem
I have a AMD K450 , 96 Meg Ram , 16Meg GeForrce Graphics card, and aAztech Labs soundcard.
I am trying to install a Tornado 56k V90/K56Flex modem, which I have in another newer machine and have never had any problems with. It is recognised fine by Windows. The software is installed etc and all appears fine. Except when I come to use it , or view more details for diagnostics the machine reboots!, I have tryed taking it out and re-installing, putting my other modem in etc, and same result, so hopefully its a bios thing I can switch, but I have tried everything I can think of
Anyone have any ideas ?
Thanks
..Colin
