Sluggish
One of the PC's I'm using is very sluggish and choppy after using for 30 minutes (or so) or more (slow response, choppy pointer movement, etc.). It's running Win98 SE on an IBM Aptiva (forget model #), with 256 RAM and a 266 processor. It happened tonight while running Napster and IE 5.0 (the only 2 aps loaded (besides NSW Anti Virus in the background)). I've done defrag and have optimized the swap file using NSW 2000, but it hasn't helped. I was going to re-install Win98 SE next. Before doing that though I wanted to get some expert advise. What shold I do to improve performance?
Thanks.
