Interesting question...need help...

I have a friend whose power supply died. Her machine is pretty old. It uses a PS/2 power supply instead of one of the newer ATX kinds. The only replacement she could find works in every way EXCEPT (of course there's one of those) for the actual attachments to the On/Off button. Her old power supply had two plugs that attached to the On/Off switch which also had only two attachments for them to be pushed onto. We're wondering if there's a way to buy just a new On/Off switch and not an entire case AND power supply. Does anyone know of a way/place to do this? Does this even make sense? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

A little more info required, but I'm guessing that the new PSU has four female spade connectors for attaching to the switch, where as the old one only had two?

If this is the case, then you should be able to pick up a similiar switch at any electronics suppliers, i.e. R.S. farnell etc.
