Lightbulb Looking for good cheap CD-rom drive

This is gunna be for a budget system...Looking for a good CD Rom drive that is rather cheaply priced.
Any help appreciated. (I tried user review, but none of the cheapy drives had enough reviews to be considered credible enough).

i would suggest HP cd-roms(i know i know, but their cd-roms are really nice quality). I have seen EIDE 40x cd-roms for $35 at computer shows, i believe the company was Delta, for $100, you could get a 6x DVD, not a bad deal.

    Hmm
    Any slot suggestions?
that would just make it all-too-cool
up to 5 bucks extra for a good quality slot drive is worth it in my opinion.
50 tops, prefered less than 40
