Help, Windows stuck in dafe mode drivers!

Edit-> @#^%!@$, I can't even spell the topic correctly. Sorry, that should be "Help, Windows stuck in Safe mode drivers!"

I was swapping motherboards, (check the last post on this link for details) http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/For...ML/010028.html and when I swapped back to my old motherboard, Windows booted up normally but it will no longer see CD-ROM drives and it also says that both of my hard drives are operating in MS-DOS Compatability mode!

I figured it was using the wrong driver for the IDE controller, but when I try to install a different driver, the computer freezes on me. I intsalled device drivers for a Plug and Play BIOS, but that didn't help either.

I need to get this resolved ASAP! Please help!!!

First idea: try to go to safe mode and _delete_ *all* of the motherboard devices. When it asks to reboot, swap to the desired motherboard.

Next idea: go to the old motherboard that had the drivers installed for it. Go into windows and delete everything related to the motherboard. Reboot and let it install everything.

One other thing you could try, is just reformat and reinstall! It's worked for Starmaster5 (though he's done it like 5 kajillion times).

    Either way, good luck.

They way I had it set up, it shouldn't have effected any of my normal drivers, I am stuped at the behavior of this board and how it has affected my system. If I was not using this board in another system, It would be about 6 trillion peices right now. I really want to get some revenge on a P3V4X...
