    Red face NEC Monitor ?

    Hello,

    Anybody have a comment on NEC 17" MultiSync FE700 Flat Monitor which I can get it for US$194 including shipping & handling.
    I would truely appreciate for any assistance,

    Don't know what their rep is over stateside but down under NEC have a good rep as a mid price mon, if you can afford go for 21" though.

    Lightbulb

    I just installed NEC monitors in a school lab (28 machines) and found the display every bit as good as the new 17" Dells in the next room. The optional bases with built-in speakers were not real wonderful however. Stick with regular speakers. The front panel controls were very nice too!>
