    different questiion on c and d msdos

    i went to reload driver from cd but it wouldn't work what i did see was
    C:\windows|inf\mshdc.inf does this mean anything to anyone and if so is this my problem with the c and d using msdos paging and can it be fixed. i don't know much about computer lingo so pls be easy with me thanks

    Need a little more info. Why are you loading a driver? Do you have problems? What type of system? Sounds like you are using 16bit file system which will degrade performance.

    i'm using a northgate clareon 64snram,8.2g harddrive. i was trying to load the driver for the cd rom drive. because the computer said that c and d are using msdos compatibility paging mode. and thats what i seen on the label c;\windows\inf\mshdc.inf i really don't know what else you need from me pls.reapy to me
